Black Monday!!
Recent moves in the stock markets have shown the risks involved with this art. Lots of people have lost lots of money in these three days.
A few words for peple who lost money.
Never invest in weak securities with the hope of making quick bucks. Always invest in strong scrips, even if they fall, their stong fundamentals will make them move up in future.
Stocks go up and they go down also. Stocks can go up, higher than we imagine.
Stocks can go down, deeper than we imagine.
When a friend gives you a tip, do you ask him enough questions? or just take his tips since you want to "do something"? Has your friend demonstrated over time that he can make good decisions? or does he just says fancy things and shift the pain on govt and news?
Does you friend makes you "think" or does he tries to make you "feel".??
This recent Bull run on the market have made analysts out of amateurs. People who had started investing few months back had started giving tips which were religiously followed by others. Dont follow anyone blindly. Open your eyes, widen your horizon, increase your knowledge and then put your hard earned money into the markets.
Money making is never easy in any profession. Same law applies to the stock markets too. They are NOT a place to make a quick buck and run away.
Fear and Greed are the two emotions which govern the futures of all the people who invest in stocks. Investors who can control their greed and tame their fear are the ones who taste success. Only people who are well read and who can think unemotionally can make some money.
